WORSHIP

Worship is central to all aspects of our life together as a community of believers.
We place importance on the spoken word, music, and prayer.
We worship in a vibrant manner, employing multimedia technologies,
as we blend both traditional and contemporary aspects
in this important and vital encounter with God.

Ordinarily, Worship is at 10:30am.
During the summer months, Sunday Worship begins at 9:30am
.
Please note: The summer worship time starts the 4th Sunday in June.
We return to the regular worship time
the Sunday after Labor Day.

PARKING
There is an off-street parking lot that can be accessed from White Street.
The driveway is immediately east of the pastor's house located at 42 West White Street.
There is also a handicap ramp and parking in the back of the church on West Ridge St (an alley). All other parking is on-street.

GREETERS
Upon entering either the White Street or Market Street entrance, you will be welcomed by a Greeter who will hand you a bulletin (program).
Please let this person know if you are a visitor so they can make sure to familiarize you with
the location of bathrooms and Sunday School rooms as well as help you to your seat.

CHILDREN
We love children and always welcome them into our church.
We have Blessing Bags situated near the door of the sanctuary for your convenience.
These bags contain toys, games, puzzles or coloring sheets with crayons
(it varies from Sunday to Sunday).
Ask one of our greeters to assist you if you cannot locate them.
~~
Also, Church School (Sunday School) meets during worship.
All teachers and aides have clearances on file in the church office.
On Communion Sundays (first Sunday of the month), children go directly to
their class and then rejoin us in time for communion.
On all other Sundays, children stay for worship until  the children’s sermon
and then their teacher takes them to their class.
Parents can pick up their children after worship upstairs in the Sunday School room.

FELLOWSHIP

Following Worship, we gather in the Fellowship Room
(exit sanctuary and turn right and follow hallway to the door)
to enjoy some snacks as well as each other's company.
It's a great time to get to know one another or catch up after a long week.

COMMUNION
The Lord's Supper is served on the first Sunday of the month.
We generally have pew communion (the elders bring the elements to each person as they remain seated in their pews).
All people who trust and believe in Jesus Christ are invited to receive the elements.

CHOIR
David Perkins is our Director of Music.
David is quite adept at bringing out the musical gifts of our choir members as
he teaches and leads our choir in pieces representing quite a diversity of musical genres.
Without a doubt, the choir anthem is one of the highlights of each worship service.
